MacBattery specialise in batteries for remote-controlled gas fireplaces and other heating appliances with electronic ignitions. Our product range is designed to offer both more cost effective and safer alternatives to the original battery packs, direct from the UK.
Our batteries are compatible, and improve upon, the 7.2V Lithium SAFT, EVE and branded 2LSH20, 2S1PLSH20, ML0004 & ER34615M battery types. They are regularly fitted in Brilliant, NuFlame, Verine, Legend, Yeoman, Ekofires, Flavel, Flamerite, Worcester Bosch, Valor, Creative, Broseley, Dimplex, Baxi and other fireplaces.
And as we have replaced the prohibited Lithium with safer Alkaline or NiMh equivalents they can be mailed directly to you through regular post without issue.
All batteries include an integral heat and flame protective membrane coating, are higher temperature rated, and because they do not use Lithium they are much safer and more durable than the originals. We only use the best components, including the important battery cells, and all products are 100% tested to deliver the best value performance gas fire battery for all.
Supplying both consumers and the trade with gas fire batteries directly since 2012, you can purchase on line through our SHOP or on eBay or Amazon. And all orders are dispatched the same working day if ordered before 12:00am.
Please check listings for compatibility and advice against your make of fire.

"Excellent value for money.I bought one of these to avoid paying for the hugely expensive and wasteful SAFT gas fire batteries for my Brilliant New Dawn.
Works without problem.
Whenever the battery runs low .. simply charge it up again.
One of the best purchases I've ever made."
"Fitted in with ease, so far so good. Wanted to give this a whirl as fed up of paying extortionate prices from main dealer with no customer service!."
"Perfect lights fire first time"
"This battery is an absolute Godsend. I have spent hundreds and hundreds of pounds over the past ten years on expensive replacement batteries for my gas fire which only last six months. Now this rechargeable battery has ended all the costs for good, this battery is brilliant, it charged up in just a few hours and is still working fine months later. Even if it becomes flat I can simply charge it again. Highly recommended."
"Works perfect, and hopefully charges which will save money.Very happy with product."
All remote control operated gas fires use a special gas fire battery within the appliance. The gas fire battery is used for various purposes: to power the receiver electronics for picking up your remote control signal (even when your not using the fire), opening the gas valve during ignition, igniting the flame and running various sensors such as the oxygen sensor.
Without power from the battery your fire cannot function. You can tell when the battery has expired or run down as the fire beeps, ignition starts but then powers off or you get no spark.
One of several brands of gas fire battery are commonly used (all are more or less equivalent). Usually referenced either as 2LSH20, ML0004, 2ER34615M, 2S1PLSH20 or 2X34615 made by SAFT (France) or EVE (China). Some manufacturers have their own branded batteries, such as Verine or Burley, which again are more or less equivalent.
Most original gas fire batteries are Lithium, but they are now classed as Prohibited Goods for shipping in the UK, EU and most other countries (see Prohibited Goods), so we only offer safer alternatives.
